Congratulations to Tim
Kleinschmidt the new Texas House of Representatives District 17
congressman. He won the seat with a solid margin that was formerly
held by the Democrats.
Chief
Justice Jefferson, Justice Wainwright, and Justice Johnson all soundly won
re-election to the Texas Supreme Court. Texas voters confirmed their
preference for courts that interpret the law, as they are constitutionally
directed, not make it. 
Justice
Rex Davis won a seat from the Democrats on the Texas 10th Court of Appeals
with a solid margin. 
Limbaugh
speaks the truth, "Conservatism did not lose last night. The
Republican Party has not sought to be conservative since the new tone was
initiated by the Bush administration in 2001....The process of reestablish
the conservative movement has begun. ...we must simply take it back
from a bunch of frauds and pretenders who want to "redefine" it... the
wizards of smart on our side continue to try to tear it down, and they
continue to tell us that the only way we can win is by branching out and,
in their own way, Balkanizing voters. We got to start looking at voters, a
Wal-Mart voter over there, and a Joe the Plumber voter over here, and some
other kind of voter over there. That's not how you win elections...
